Catherine is qualified to practice in the jurisdictions of Northern Ireland and England having initially qualified as a Solicitor and worked in London. She relocated to Belfast in 1999 and has since worked for a number of firms specialising in Litigation matters of negligence as well as breach of contract. She was appointed a Director of Thompson Crooks solicitors in July 2021, having joined the company in July 2018.

As head of the firm, Civil Litigation Team her main areas of work are acting on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants specialising in personal injury law including road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, public liability and medical negligence.
